Iowa High School Softball - Vinton-Shellsburg can't hold off Marion
June 28, 2023: Vinton, IA 52349 The Marion Wolves softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings to 2 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Marion improves its record to 14-18 on the year. The Wolves host Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, July 1. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 12-7.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, June 29. Vinton-Shellsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 8-23 season record.
