Iowa High School Baseball - Starmont nips Calamus-Wheatland
June 29, 2024: Wheatland, IA 52777 The Starmont Stars baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Calamus-Wheatland Warriors to 5 in the Stars non-league win on Saturday.
The Stars now own a 16-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, July 2.
With the defeat, Calamus-Wheatland drops to 12-16 on the year. The Warriors host Union (La Porte City, IA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, June 29. The Knights go into the test with a record of 7-17.
