May 20, 2024: Central City, IA 52214 Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) and the host Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA), saw Starmont's baseball squad beat Central City by a margin of 8-0.
Coming up next, the Stars play the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 21. Starmont will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Cedar for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 23. Central City will play a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
