Vermont High School Softball - West Rutland bounces Poultney
June 3, 2022: Poultney, VT 05764 West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT), 16-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Horde now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Proctor for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 7. West Rutland will face a Phantoms squad coming off a 25-1 non-league win over Craftsbury Academy (Craftsbury Common, VT). The Phantoms record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, Poultney falls to 9-6 on the campaign.
