Kentucky High School Softball - Rowan County nudges Johnson Central
June 3, 2023: Morehead, KY 40351 Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 24-4 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. Rowan County will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 25-8.
With the loss, Johnson Central falls to 25-9 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 23-4. Rowan County won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
