Iowa High School Softball - North Scott bounces Assumption
June 3, 2024: Davenport, IA 52804 Spectators at Monday's league match between the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) and the host Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA), witnessed North Scott's softball squad tip Assumption by a count of 10-4.
The Lancers now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast for a non-league match on Wednesday, June 5. North Scott will face a Rebels squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Assumption moves to 3-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Regina (Iowa City, IA) to face the Regals in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 5. The Regals go into the match with a record of 5-2. Regina won 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Durant (Durant, IA)
