Connecticut High School Baseball - Shelton nipped by Platt
June 3, 2025: Meriden, CT 06451 Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT), 1-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Platt advances its record to 17-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to battle the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, June 7. The Bears come into the match with a record of 26-4. Norwalk won 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Stamford (Stamford, CT)
The Gaels now have a 13-14 record.
