Iowa High School Softball - Humboldt bounces Iowa Falls-Alden
June 30, 2023: Humboldt, IA 50548 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) and the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), witnessed Humboldt's softball squad prevail over Iowa Falls-Alden by a count of 10-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Greene County for a non-league match on Monday, July 3. Humboldt will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Rams record now stands at 19-6.
With the loss, Iowa Falls-Alden moves to 2-18 on the season. The Cadets travel to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, July 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 20-13. Grinnell won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Centerville (Centerville, IA)
