Iowa High School Baseball - Sigourney defeats Iowa Valley
June 30, 2025: Marengo, IA 52301 The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) and the host Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA), saw Sigourney's baseball team gain a win over Iowa Valley by a tally of 12-5.
The Savages (21-1) will now prepare for their battle against H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Warriors enter the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, H-L-V held off English Valleys (North English, IA), 11-10, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar battle, on Monday, June 30. Iowa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 7-2 league loss to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA).
