Iowa High School Softball - Nevada bounces New London
June 4, 2022: New London, IA 52645 Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saydel for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 6. Nevada will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, New London falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Fairfield (Fairfield, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 10. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
