June 4, 2025: Le Mars, IA 51031 The Hinton Blackhawks triumphed over the host Gehlen Catholic Jays softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Blackhawks play the Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, June 5. Hinton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
The Jays (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA). The Westerners enter the War Eagle challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Akron-Westfield overcame West Sioux (Hawarden, IA), 9-1, in a league challenge.
