Iowa High School Softball - Western Dubuque bounces Waverly-Shell Rock
June 4, 2025: Waverly, IA 50677 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Western Dubuque Bobcats softball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks.
The Bobcats (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Jesup tipped Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 11-10, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Go-Hawks battle the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, June 6. Waverly-Shell Rock will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 2-4 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).
