Iowa High School Baseball - Waterloo West loses to Hempstead
June 5, 2024: Dubuque, IA 52002 The Hempstead Mustangs baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Waterloo West Wahawks to 2 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Lions go into the Mississippi Valley - Valley match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Linn-Mar ran past North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Wahawks (3-14) will now prepare for their match against Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Bobcats go into the Mississippi Valley - Valley match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Western Dubuque ran past Assumption (Davenport, IA), 4-0, in a non-league match.
