Iowa High School Softball - Turkey Valley bounces Postville
June 5, 2024: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 19-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Denver for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. Turkey Valley will face a Cyclones squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Postville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Kee (Lansing, IA) to face the Kee Hawks in a Upper Iowa challenge on Monday, June 10. The Kee Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-7.
