Iowa High School Softball - South Hamilton holds off Roland-Story
June 5, 2024: Story City, IA 50248 The South Hamilton Hawks the host Roland-Story Norsemen softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Hawks (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the Heart of Iowa battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Saydel by West Marshall (State Center, IA), 7-6, in a league battle.
The Norsemen now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Marshall for a non-league battle on Thursday, June 6. Roland-Story will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.
