June 5, 2025: Sidney, IA 51652 The Fremont-Mills Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Sidney Cowboys to 6 in the Knights league win on Thursday.
The Knights now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Griswold for a Corner test on Friday, June 6. Fremont-Mills will play a Tigers team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
With the defeat, Sidney drops to 1-5 on the year. The Cowboys host Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, June 7. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-4. Shenandoah lost 8-7 in their recent league test against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA)
