Iowa High School Softball - West Monona bounces Lawton-Bronson
June 6, 2024: Lawton, IA 51030 West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), 14-0 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cherokee Washington for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7. West Monona will face a Braves squad coming off a 17-12 league win over Spencer (Spencer, IA). The Braves record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Lawton-Bronson falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 7.
