Iowa High School Softball - Waukon bounces New Hampton
June 6, 2024: New Hampton, IA 50659 The Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) softball routed the host New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), 18-12 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Charles City (Charles City, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, Charles City held off Osage (Osage, IA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
The Chickasaws now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Crestwood for a non-league bout on Tuesday, June 11. New Hampton will confront a Cadets squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 6-5.
