Iowa High School Softball - Regina holds off Solon
June 6, 2024: Iowa City, IA 52245 Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Solon Spartans (Solon, IA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Regals now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mid-Prairie for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10.
With the loss, Solon falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Williamsburg won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Wapello (Wapello, IA)
