June 6, 2025: Anamosa, IA 52205 Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA), 6-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Alburnett advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Central City (Central City, IA) to battle the Wildcats in a Tri-Rivers - West match on Monday, June 9. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Raiders now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davenport Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 10.
