June 7, 2024: Lawton, IA 51030 The Lawton-Bronson Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting West Monona Spartans to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Panthers go into the Western Valley match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Kingsley-Pierson ran past Whiting (Whiting, IA), 18-0, in a non-league match.
The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Wildcats go into the Western Valley match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Woodbury Central prevailed over Ridge View (Holstein, IA), 4-0, in a league outing.
