Iowa High School Softball - St. Edmond bounces Humboldt
June 7, 2024: Humboldt, IA 50548 The St. Edmond Gaels routed the host Humboldt Wildcats softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Gaels (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Van Meter topped West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 13-0, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Iowa Falls-Alden for a non-league battle on Monday, June 10. Humboldt will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 3-5.
