June 7, 2025: Van Horne, IA 52346 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) and the visiting Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA), saw Benton's baseball team beat Clarinda by a margin of 12-1.
The Bobcats (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets enter the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, West Liberty defeated Tipton (Tipton, IA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cardinals face the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 battle, on Monday, June 9. Clarinda will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
