Iowa High School Baseball - Pleasantville wallops Coon Rapids-Bayard
June 7, 2025: Pleasantville, IA 50225 The Pleasantville Trojans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.
The Trojans now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Interstate 35 for a West Central test on Tuesday, June 10. Pleasantville will clash with a Roadrunners team coming off a 13-2 league win over Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 9-1.
With the defeat, Coon Rapids-Bayard drops to 8-1 on the year. The Crusaders host Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Rolling Valley test on Monday, June 9. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-5. Glidden-Ralston won 14-5 in their recent league test against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA)
