Iowa High School Baseball - Carlisle loses to Sergeant Bluff-Luton
June 8, 2024: Carlisle, IA 50047 The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors crushed the host Carlisle Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 8-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now hold a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sioux City West for a non-league bout on Tuesday, June 11. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will face a Wolverines team coming off a 12-3 league loss to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-14.
Next, the Wildcats face the Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Monday, June 10. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 4-13 season record. The Toreadors enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Ames (Ames, IA).
