Central Knights (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), 8-4 in a league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Shea (Pawtucket, RI) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, June 10. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-9.

With the defeat, East Providence falls to 7-7 on the season. The Townies travel to Coventry (Coventry, RI) to battle the Oakers in a non-league test on Sunday, June 13.
