Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Neshannock upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, June 13. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 16-5. Burgettstown won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA)

With the defeat, Riverside falls to 17-7 on the season.
