June 9, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50313 Ottumwa Bulldogs (Ottumwa, IA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA), 22-2 in a league match.
With the triumph, Ottumwa advances its record to 11-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 11. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 4-9. Marshalltown lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA)
The Polar Bears now have a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a Alliance Conference - South match on Thursday, June 12.
