June 9, 2025: Muscatine, IA 52761 Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA), 8-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Muscatine upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Muskies travel to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA) to play the Spartans in a Mississippi Athletic game on Monday, June 16. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 11-2.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a Mississippi Athletic game on Wednesday, June 11. Davenport Central will play a River Kings squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 1-12.
