Iowa High School Baseball - Denver defeats New Hampton
July 1, 2025: Denver, IA 50622 The Denver Cyclones baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws to 1 in the Cyclones non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cyclones now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus for a North Iowa Cedar - Central test on Wednesday, July 2. Denver will clash with a Sailors team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Sailors record now stands at 10-19.
With the defeat, New Hampton drops to 24-8 on the year. The Chickasaws host Columbus (Waterloo, IA) to clash with the Sailors in a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. The Sailors go into the test with a record of 10-19. Columbus lost 7-3 in their recent league test against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)
