July 3, 2025: Oelwein, IA 50662 The Oelwein Huskies nipped the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws baseball squad by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Huskies battle the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, July 5. Oelwein will attempt to advance on its 7-19 season record. The Cadets come into the outing with a 7-17 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
The Chickasaws (24-9) will now prepare for their outing against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils come into the non-league outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, Osage tipped Central Springs (Manly, IA), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
