July 1, 2025: Wapello, IA 52653 In Tuesday's league bout, the Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA), by a tally of 11-1.
Next up, the Huskies encounter the Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, July 2. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Beavers enter the bout with a 16-10 record after their 9-8 league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA).
The Indians (2-16) will now prepare for their bout against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, New London overcame Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
