July 1, 2025: Chariton, IA 50049 The Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) softball routed the host Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA), 6-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Blue Demons now sport a 23-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twin Cedars for a non-league outing on Wednesday, July 2. Albia will encounter a Sabers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Sabers record now stands at 4-17.
With the loss, Chariton moves to 15-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Clarke (Osceola, IA) to encounter the Indians in a South Central outing on Thursday, July 3. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 6-12.
