July 3, 2023: Davenport, IA 52803 The Davenport Central Blue Devils baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Davenport West Falcons to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Monday.
The Blue Devils (17-22) will now prepare for their match against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 12-11 record. In their last match, Iowa City West was overwhelmed by Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA), 9-8, in a non-league match.
The Falcons (12-25) will now prepare for their match against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league match with a 7-23 record. In their last match, Clinton was overwhelmed by Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA), 11-7, in a non-league match.
