Iowa High School Baseball - Cascade prevails North Linn
July 3, 2024: Cascade, IA 52033 In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Cascade Cougars baseball team scored a nice 9-0 win over the North Linn Lynx.
The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-17 record. In their last game, Clayton-Ridge was overwhelmed by MFL MarMac (Monona, IA), 5-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lynx play the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, July 6. North Linn will attempt to improve on its 21-9 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 1-17 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IA).
