Iowa High School Baseball - Hudson nips Grundy Center
July 5, 2023: Grundy Center, IA 50638 Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 19-12 on the season. The Pirates travel to Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, July 8. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 20-12. Anamosa won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Jesup (Jesup, IA)
With the defeat, Grundy Center falls to 18-7 on the season.
