July 5, 2023: Waukee, IA 50263 Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 29-9 record. They take the field next when they host Keokuk for a non-league challenge on Saturday, July 8. Norwalk will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-23.
With the loss, Northwest falls to 20-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to battle the J-Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, July 8. The J-Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 15-25. Urbandale won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
