July 5, 2024: West Liberty, IA 52776 The Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA) softball routed the host West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA), 12-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Little Hawks now sport a 17-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keokuk for a non-league outing on Monday, July 8. Iowa City will encounter a Chiefs team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-16.
With the loss, West Liberty moves to 21-10 on the season. The Comets travel to Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to encounter the Raiders in a River Valley - South outing on Thursday, July 11. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 8-20. Anamosa lost 7-0 in their recent non-league outing against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA)
