Iowa High School Baseball - Algona gets by Clear Lake
July 7, 2023: Algona, IA 50511 Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA), 6-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Algona upgrades its record to 16-14 on the season. The Bulldogs host Gilbert (Gilbert, IA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, July 11. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 17-12. Gilbert won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA)
With the defeat, Clear Lake falls to 13-13 on the season.
