Iowa High School Baseball - GMG holds off B-G-M
July 8, 2023: Brooklyn, IA 52211 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) and the host B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), saw GMG's baseball squad knock off B-G-M by a count of 8-4.
Coming up next, the Wolverines play the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, July 11. GMG will attempt to move on its 11-14 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 23-4 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA).
The Bears now possess a 11-12 record.
