July 9, 2024: Algona, IA 50511 The West Bend-Mallard Wolverines baseball squad (West Bend, IA), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA)
With the triumph, Bishop Garrigan moves its record to 23-5 on the season. The Golden Bears host St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA) to confront the Gaels in a non-league contest on Saturday, July 13. The Gaels come into the contest with a record of 9-14. St. Edmond won 16-6 in their recent non-league contest against North Union (Armstrong, IA)
The Wolverines now possess a 7-17 record.
