Iowa High School Baseball - West Lyon nips Central Lyon
July 9, 2024: Inwood, IA 51240 The West Lyon Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Central Lyon Lions to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Unity Christian for a Siouxland test on Saturday, July 13. West Lyon will play a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA). The Knights record now stands at 23-11.
With the defeat, Central Lyon drops to 9-18 on the year.
