Next, the Comets play the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) in a Northeast Iowa challenge, on Thursday, July 11. Charles City will attempt to upgrade on its 25-5 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 11-6 non-league win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
The Cadets (12-16) will now prepare for their challenge against West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 15-20 record. In their last challenge, West Delaware was routed by Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA), 13-5, in a non-league challenge.
