The Katy Taylor Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Oaks for a non-league game on Thursday, August 10. Katy Taylor will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-0.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Fort Bend Dulles was dropped by Foster (Richmond, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
