The Pirates now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingleside for a non-league game on Thursday, August 11. Mathis will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
The Coyotes (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Refugio gained a win over Ben Bolt (Ben Bolt, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
