August 11, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110 Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lee Park Prep improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 13. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
