August 12, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 12. Walnut Grove will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Wolverines come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA).
With the loss, Newton drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league match on Saturday, August 12.
