The Smithson Valley Rangers topped the visiting Fredericksburg Billies volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rangers now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Connor for a non-league test on Saturday, August 13. Smithson Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.

The Billies (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Clark gained a win over Alexander (Laredo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
