August 14, 2023: Dunn, NC 28366 Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 16. Midway will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Wildcats now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pender for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17. Hobbton will confront a Patriots team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
