August 14, 2023: Arkoma, OK 74901 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Gore Pirates (Gore, OK) and the host Arkoma Mustangs (Arkoma, OK), witnessed Gore's softball squad tip Arkoma by a count of 6-5.
The Pirates now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Gans for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 15. Gore will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Indianola (Indianola, OK). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Arkoma moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a Class B match on Tuesday, August 15. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 4-0.
